Bears come down from the mountains to the village and come to people's lives in search of food. It's not bad, but the mountains are no longer old. We are alive too. "alive" 2011-12→a/w アライブ：生きる（英語） この柄を描くきっかけは、ニュースで人里に熊が降りてきて畑を荒らしたりして怖いというのを聞いたことでした。確かに人にとって熊は怖くて危険です。それでもこのニュースは、人の視点から見たものだとその時感じました。 熊はそもそも人里に来たいだろうか？畑を荒らしたり、人を傷つけたいだろうか？きっとそうではないでしょう。熊の棲む森や山の自然が破壊されたり、環境の変化があって、満足に食べ物が手に入らなくなって仕方なく人里へ食べ物を探しに降りてきたのです。その原因は、人による環境破壊が原因でしょう。その現状をある日、熊たちが人に意見しに来たという物語を想い浮かべました。 後ろの方で手をあげている熊や子熊、色々な表情をした熊たちが描かれているのと同時に、人は地球の一部であって独占的な存在ではないというメッセージが、このテキスタイル には込められています。 The reason I drew this pattern was when I heard in the news that a bear came down to a remote area and was scared of ruining the fields. The cause may be environmental destruction by humans. One day, I remembered the story of bears coming to give their opinions to others. At the same time as bears and cubs raising their hands in the back and bears with various facial expressions are drawn, the message that human beings are a part of the earth and not an exclusive existence is this. I drew a flock of rabbits running in the field, making the most of the shades of paint. The screen also depicts a rabbit that has stopped running and is relaxing and is passing through a ring. It wasn't as orderly as the houndstooth, but I wanted to keep the feelings of each rabbit as if they were living in clothes. When designing, I think it would be great if I could feel that time continues to flow in textiles. Time goes by with the scenery in the usual clothes and the people who wear life. I think such a design is unique to us.

repo bell bag 2020-21 a/w 楕円の底からドームのように膨らんだ“bell bag”。大サイズはボストンバッグのような、柔らかな四角のフォルム、小サイズはころんとしたフォルムで、手元で揺れる様子はベルのようにも映ります。 古いフィンランド語でキツネを意味する名をつけた“repo”。キツネの横向きの顔と、正面の顔を配列して、幾何学模様のようなデザインに仕上げました。ベースは、リネンにアルパカのブークレ糸とウールを織り込んでいるツイード生地です。 A “bell bag” that bulges like a dome from the bottom of an ellipse. The large size has a soft square shape like a Boston bag, and the small size has a laid-back shape, and the appearance of shaking at hand looks like a bell. “Repo” is the old Finnish name for fox. The sideways face of the fox and the front face are arranged to create a geometric pattern-like design.
